New Year’s Resolutions for 2018
I know, I know, we’re not even a full month into 2017. I think that most of us can admit that our resolutions to lose weight may be currently gathering a bit more dust than we like – or maybe that one is just me? How can I possibly be encouraging people to be making resolutions for 2018?? Stay with me here…..
A Resolution You Can Keep
One thing I do resolve every year (and work very diligently to actually keep to, no matter what my scale says!) is to be a kind person and make the world a better place for as many people as I possibly can. I know I’m not alone on this one. Luckily, there are a multitude of ways to make the world a better place, from small to large.
What does this have to do with 2018?
Having a baby takes a long time. If you’ve known someone that struggled with infertility or know that won’t be able to carry a child on their own, you’ve seen how long the road can be to parenthood. Don’t get me wrong, the baby still gestates for 40 weeks if all goes perfectly, so that part is not technically longer, but there are a lot of other steps to the process. One of the hardest steps is the time and effort it takes to find the perfect, kind, generous and caring soul who is willing and able to carry a baby for someone who isn’t so lucky – a person who starts off a complete stranger! Even babies conceived in the next few months will just barely be born within the confines of 2017.
What does this have to do with you?
Have you had a healthy, low complication pregnancy? Did you enjoy being pregnant? How do you feel about giving the ultimate gift to a family unable to have one?? That’s where you come in. If you answered yes to the first two questions and with something similar to “Fantastic! When can I start??” to the third, we’d love to talk to you. Colorado Surrogacy is currently taking applications for gestational carriers. If you achieve a few milestones in a timely fashion (such as getting your medical records to us and being cleared through medical and psychology to proceed within 30 days on interview) we’ll give you a $100 Amazon gift card for your time (you might even be able to convince us to make it to Starbucks, or Target - the possibilities are endless!). Once you are matched to an intended family to help and have signed legal documents we’ll help you celebrate the wonderful thing you are doing with a $2,018 advance.
While a few extra monetary incentives are great, the best part is how you’ll feel knowing you’ve helped make someone’s dreams of a family come true. Resolve to make 2018 the best year yet for someone!
