Suzie White

Intake Coordinator

“Do not be afraid, for I am with you.”
—Isaiah 43:5

Suzie is an Intake Coordinator for Colorado Surrogacy. She is originally from Thornton, Colorado. She is a single mom to four awesome kids. Her three daughters are 19, 20, and 27. The two younger sisters are both attending college here in Colorado and the oldest is a teacher, wife, and mama in Thailand, which makes Suzie the coolest, youngest, grandma EVER with a 1 month old granddaughter. Her son, unfortunately, passed away from cancer 4 years ago at the age of 25. Suzie is a ray of sunshine in the office and to everyone she meets. The most important fact that you should know about Suzie is that she can fit 7 peeps in her mouth at once. How could anyone know this, you ask. Suzie’s sisters each paid her a dollar for every peep she got into her mouth (sadly…they were all adults when this happened).

Why she started working in surrogacy

“I was looking to get into something different after working for years in the mortgage industry and thought that I should reach out into the surrogacy arena to see how I could be involved. It was meant to be that I found Colorado Surrogacy immediately, and I started working with them right away.”

Why she’s passionate about working in this industry

“I am a three-time previous surrogate myself, so I can relate to the people and the process on a very personal level. I carried two children individually for a family in the 90s then was also a surrogate to twins who are now teenagers. Although my childbirth days are over, it's still an exciting and rewarding process to be a part of. I'm thrilled that I was able to become involved in surrogacy again.”

How she’d use her surrogacy compensation

"As a single mom, I did use some of my surrogacy compensation to help provide a nice life for my children. We also took a family trip to Disney World after the twins were born. They brought a couple close friends along. It was my thank you to them for their help and support during the pregnancy. The kids really enjoyed being part of the process as well.”

What kind of intended parents she’d want to work with

“I enjoyed working with couples who liked occasional phone conversations and email. They attended some of the appointments, especially the ultrasounds, but not all, as they lived out of state. They were so excited to become parents, and that's what it was all about. We didn't speak daily and don't have contact any more, but I'm comfortable with the fact that I know they are busy loving their family, and I am doing the same with mine.”

I love to read, watch all kinds of documentaries, crochet terribly, go hiking, travel to the beach. I'd like to do a little scrapbooking with the boxes of family photos I have.
