“How wonderful it is that nobody need wait a single moment before starting to improve the world."
— Anne Frank
Ari is an Intake Coordinator at Colorado Surrogacy. She is originally from Gaithersburg, MD and currently lives in beautiful Colorado. Ari has her Masters and certification in social work and worked as a birthparent counselor for 7 years and a substance abuse counselor for 6 years (did we mention the people who work for us have BIG hearts?!). She’s been married for 15 years, has 2 children who are the loves of her life, and has a puppy named Ohana (who runs the house).
Why she started working in surrogacy
“I went through a long journey of infertility before I was able to become a mom to two incredible and amazing children. I am a social worker and have worked in the past in the field of adoption. My passion has always been to help people and, more specifically, to help people who are struggling with infertility to build and grow their family.”
Why she’s passionate about working in this industry
“I understand the pain and uncertainty that comes with infertility. I understand the journey that is involved. I felt very alone at times when I was going through that journey and have always felt passionate about wanting to help others that may also have to go through that experience.”
How she’d use her surrogacy compensation
"I would take my kids on the most glorious and wonderful vacations to meet people and see places that they have never been.”
What kind of intended parents she’d want to work with
“I would be thrilled to work with any parent or parents that have gone through the heart break of infertility and instead of giving up on their dream of becoming parents they forge on to see their dream become a reality.”
